Ms Marie-Line Voirol Revaz : a solid experience and a varied career
Marie-Line holds a law degree from the University of Fribourg (1991) and passed the bar exam (1998), supplemented by a CAS in magistrature from the HES-ARC in Neuchâtel (2013).
During her legal studies, Marie-Line worked as a lawyer for the Valais Child Welfare Authority.
She began her career as a legal assistant in the litigation department of a major Swiss bank, developing expertise in debt recovery before moving on to more strategic functions such as the fight against money laundering and corruption as compliance officer for the Corporate, Trading and Retail Banking sectors. As an examining magistrate and general prosecutor, then as an economic prosecutor, she has been at the heart of criminal investigations, navigating the complexities of the law and the challenges facing society. Her time at the head of the Federation of Magistrates, Teachers, Police and Staff of the State of Valais (FMEP) underlines her commitment to representing and defending the rights of professionals in the sector.
Her academic career has been complemented by continuing education focused on essential skills such as conflict management and interpersonal communication. This quest of excellence illustrates her desire to evolve in a constantly changing environment.
Alongside her professional activities, she has also been involved in training future court interpreters and translators at the Valais-Wallis High School. She co-chaired the Anti-Narcotics Commission of the Latin Conference of Public Prosecutors and was a member of the Conference’s Ethics Commission.
At the end of her sabbatical in 2024, she passed the exam required to obtain a licence to operate accommodation or catering establishments.
In 2025, she founded the MVR law firm in Aigle, active in the cantons of Vaud and Valais, Switzerland.
